Full Kitchen Remodels

New cabinets, counters, backsplash, flooring, lighting and appliances, planned together so the room works as a whole.

Layout Changes and Open Kitchens

Moving the sink, adding an island or opening a wall to the living room can change how the whole house feels. When a wall carries load, we bring in an engineer before anything comes down.

Cabinet and Countertop Updates

If the layout already works for you, new cabinets, counters and fixtures in the same footprint can give the room a new life.

Kitchens for ADUs and Garage Conversions

Building a second unit? We design compact, practical kitchens for ADUs and garage conversions, too.

Kitchen Remodel Pricing

Kitchen remodels start at $35,000 for a regular-size kitchen. This is a build-only starting price; permits and design are extra. Starting prices aren't a quote; your final price is set in your free written estimate.

Size, layout changes, materials and the condition of what's behind the walls all shape the final number. We walk you through each line of the estimate so you know what each item covers.

Do You Need a Permit for a Kitchen Remodel?

In most cases, yes. In the City of Los Angeles, the Department of Building and Safety (LADBS) generally requires permits for kitchen remodeling work. Simpler projects, such as replacing cabinets, counters and fixtures without changing walls, may qualify for an express permit, while moving walls or openings typically requires plan review.

Homes in separate cities such as Burbank, Glendale or Calabasas, or in unincorporated areas, are permitted by that city's or the county's own building department, not LADBS. We'll tell you which permits we expect your project to need, and the city makes the final permit decision.
